Taught by one of our highly skilled professional comedians, our half - day ‘Confidence In Communications‘ workshop is a fun and interactive way for your staff to improve their confidence in the workplace, delivered live at your offices. We’ll cover everything from body language, reacting in the moment and dealing with nerves using performance techniques drawn from drama training, improvisation and years of live performance. Your employees will discover their own authentic styles and voices whilst laughing along with their colleagues in these fun and interactive team - building sessions.

Meet the TEAM
Clara Heimerdinger is Founder of Comedy In The Office and Best Business Women Awards 2024 - Best Creative Business Silver Award Winner.
Clara is a Producer, Booker & Promoter of live comedy and entertainment events, with previous vast experience of Production Management work for BBC Radio.
Clara has over 20 years experience on the live comedy scene, and ten years ago she founded Nice N' Spiky Comedy, where she has built a reputation for star - studded line ups, perfectly curated bills, laugh out loud shows, plus the all- important attention to detail on production and technical elements.
With Nice N' Spiky, Clara is constantly delivering large scale comedy shows to leading brands including: corporates, hotels, private members clubs, co- working spaces and festivals with new venues calling her about shows every single week. Clara is passionate about live comedy and the benefits of laughing together. If she's not at her desk programming an event, or backstage producing, then she's to be found sat in an audience somewhere keeping an eye out for the next big thing.
Meet the TEAM
Previously a Producer for the BBC’s Science & History Department, Jimmy McGhie worked in factual television for 10 years before becoming a full time stand up comedian in 2010. Since then his feet have barely touched the ground as he has performed stand up all over the world for the last 15 years. He is “a brilliant talent” (The Scotsman) and with “an easy charm and appealing relaxed manner” (Chortle) and has performed ten solo shows at festivals around the world; including the Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Sydney Comedy Festival, Perth Comedy Festival and New Zealand International Comedy festival.
He has appeared on numerous television and radio programmes including the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, Comedy Central, ABC Australia, THREE New Zealand, Absolute Radio and many more. Jimmy is now a top circuit act across the UK, recently supporting Jason Manford and John Bishop on tour and playing at all the legendary venues country-wide including Comedy Store, Top Secret, Boat Show, Glee Clubs, and leading private members clubs including Soho House, The Roof Gardens, Tramp, The Ned & Home House.
Jimmy is also a highly sought-after Corporate Awards Host having hosting events for top clients including Accenture, Bacardi, Brit Insurance, Cisco, Coca-Cola, Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, EY, Google, Pret A Manger, and many more. He regularly provides the studio warm up for BBC1’s Graham Norton Show, and has previously worked on ITV’s Loose Women and Channel 4’s Deal or No Deal amongst many more.
Jimmy is the workshop leader / trainer with Comedy in the Office, teaching teams to overcome their fear of public speaking using specialist comedy and performance techniques. Recent clients include Vodafone, TMW, Soho Works, We Work.
